These terms cover your use of helperhour.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use HelperHour.

What HelperHour is

HelperHour is a directory that helps homeowners find independent house cleaners and contact them directly. HelperHour is not a cleaning company, an employer, an agency or a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a cleaner. Cleaners are independent businesses, not HelperHour employees or contractors.

No payments through HelperHour

HelperHour does not collect, process or guarantee payments. Homeowners and cleaners agree on price, scope, schedule, cancellation and payment directly with each other.

For homeowners

• Use HelperHour free of charge to search, compare and contact cleaners.
• Profiles, prices and availability are provided by cleaners. A request is not a confirmed appointment until the cleaner accepts it.
• Choose a cleaner with care: ask for references, confirm what's included, and agree on insurance and liability for your home yourselves. HelperHour does not run background checks.

For cleaners

• Your profile and listing are free, and so is your first match (the first request you accept). After that, receiving new requests through HelperHour needs HelperHour Pro at $10 a month, billed by Stripe, which you can cancel anytime. HelperHour charges no lead fees or commission.
• You must run your own cleaning business, personally clean every home you take on, and keep your prices and availability accurate.
• You're responsible for your own licenses, taxes, insurance and compliance with the law.
• We may decline, edit for formatting, unpublish or remove any profile, including if information is inaccurate or a homeowner reports a serious problem.

Acceptable use

Don't post false or misleading information, impersonate anyone, scrape contact details, send spam, or use HelperHour to harass anyone or break the law.

Photos and content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give HelperHour permission to display it on the site and in search results while your profile is listed. Only upload photos you have the right to share, and don't show clients' faces or personal information without their permission.

Disclaimers and liability

HelperHour is provided as is. We don't guarantee any cleaner's work, conduct, availability or pricing, and we aren't responsible for disputes, damage, loss or injury arising from a cleaning arranged through the site. To the extent the law allows, HelperHour's total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Material changes will be announced on the site.
